of synchronizing group activity
and the movement of each individual
to a common pulse
maybe to the beat of a drum,
the sound of hands clapping
maybe the original pulse
was stomping on the ground
repetitive monotonous rhythms
monotonous, highly repetitive music
man must dance
we are not fully human
unless we sing and dance
