巳 - The Dawn of Spring, 2013
Emerging slowly after the annual hibernation underground,
with the Vernal Equinox in its wake, the Celestial Serpent
uncurls and rises from the Eastern Seas, aiming beyond
the Western horizon to fang the declining Dragon's tail.
And thus, casting the Shadow of 2012 in its ascending path
and thereby encompassing another circle of light and dark
inside our Universal Spiral, the Dawn of Spring is born
on the 6ixth Earthly Branch, under the Ophidian sign
of the Ouroboros, Dvapara rising.
