* For one more week, Korsakoff is the alternative music club in Amsterdam, born in last millennium's late 80s. In addition to offering their traditional blend of rock, metal, goth, drum-n-bass, industrial, ebm, techno, wave, electro and grunge, they have been hosting the local psychedelic trance hangout, every Thundernight for the past 6ix years. As the curtain is closing on Korsakoff, all bats, bumblebees and butterflies are hereby florally invited to participate in this rite of dance, once again but nevermore.

Yes. The Kors is closing. The end of an era is nigh.

For nearly 25 years Korsakoff has been the alt.underground.club under the Amsterdamp, offering a now-traditional-and-soon-legendary blend of rock, metal, goth, electro, drum-n-bass, industrial, ebm, techno, wave and grunge. On top of that, they have been hosting the local psychedelic trance hangout, every Thunderday night for the past 6ix years - Trancending.

But now -to cut it short- the place is sold, the deal is closed and so will be the doors of the Kors, soon. The countdown has started and every night will be a blastoff until the grand finale, Sunday August 18. Follow the links below for an online agenda and more.
