Nine O Nine

A mere Moon since #808Day and the Sun rises to cerebralate another magic machine from Roland's (in)famous Transistor Rhythm family: TR-909. With increased flexibility and ease of use, Roland really kicked it up a notch from the level reached with 808, 909's three year older sibling. This gave TR-909 the perfect chance to add even more  ( but mostly its own ) influence to the evolution and future history of Music - a rapidly growing body of human expression, which tended to take an increasing amount of electronic turns.

Now, to finish up today's verbosity, it appears Time has arrived to let Music speak for its Self. After surfing through a myriad of choices, my aural cortex picks up on a strong spatiotemporal resonance as it homes in on Model 500 - Ocean to Ocean, a Juan Atkins Classic that served (and still does) as one of the pillars that ever so firmly supports the roof over the temple of my love for Techno.

Let's hear it for our modern shaman's drum, TR-909 - another music box that, once opened, added a significant change to the sound of Planet Earth.
