Paving new paths through Space
Today, on 2015's Quatorze Juillet, we arrive at Pluto. Following the footsteps of Pioneer and Voyager, yet paving its own path through the Solar System, our deep space delegate New Horizons will knock on Pluto's door, in less than 5 hours.
A near nine and a half years ago, humanity's interplanetary emissary took flight. Now, a mere fifth of a day rest between Pluto and us. How Time did fly along. Broadcasting our blooming Plutonic relationship may eclipse the current struggle with plutocratic affairs, down on Earth. Perhaps it will even highlight the futility of all territorial squabbling on our pale blue dot. Nevertheless, after Pluto, New Horizons zooms off even further into the torus-shaped Kuiper belt - one of the most mysterious areas of the solar system, yet. Fascinating times, a mere cosmic fingertouch away.
