As another tropical year comes full circle to bite itself in the tail once again, the perigeal syzygy of our celestial sister coincides with the nearest-to-linear positioning of terralunisolar trrriangulation ...
or rather:
Early morning on the 2015 Vernal Northward Equinox, Planet Earth will provide the spherical stage for a traditional shadowdance of the Sun and the Moon. The latter satellite moves into its nearest frame of coordinates in its orbit around the Earth, entering the interplanetary stage as Supermoon. A mere astronomic moment later it will move its fine self right between us the audience and the Sun, the star of the show, center stage. And hence commences the 2015 Equilipse.
In order to witness the moving shadow of our celestial sister, Svalbard and the Faroe Islands provide the best seats in the house.
